When I first started out doing photography - I swore the one thing I would never photograph was weddings. It's alot of pressure - there are no re-takes. You can't call your bride up and say - " hey, the pics didn't turn out - can we re-shoot?"
You get one chance, for once-in-a life time moments. Unique. Full of true, and honest emotion.
Starting out, I did alot of research online - about photography in general, and I came across a blog (for the life of me I now can not find!) - and it stated, that as a photographer - you should try to shoot everything at least once. Because the things you thought you wouldn't like, you may love, and the things you thought you would love, you do not.
It rang so true. I did a wedding last minute as a favor to a friend. Small and intimate, about 30 people, one location. And I was hooked! I absolutely LOVE shooting weddings! So much so, I will even be including a second photographer ( I have hired two!) for the upcoming 2013 season for all my wedding packages.
I literally cried today, when I was finishing up with this wedding. I'm proud of how far I'm come, and I'm super excited about posting this blog about Laura and Jove's special day!
It was full of energy, full of laughs and full of firemen! What more can you as for??
